I joined a gym and started swimming again. I'm so out of shape from 3 months of no running, and having a cold since the end of November (with a nice break for Christmas). On the bright side, it's very easy to get my heart rate up!
I have friends from Chicago coming to town this weekend and I'm beyond excited about it. I haven't planned anything so hopefully we can have a lot of spontaneous fun and not freeze.
Even though the temperatures have been not too bad (20s and 30s) it has felt miserably cold to me. In Chicago I was usually comfortable down into the single digits. I don't know if it's because I haven't busted out my down coat yet or more just because I don't want to be here so it feels bad to me. I guess I should get out the down coat either way!
