knitting

Now that Christmas is over, I can share what I've been working on for the past couple of months. I never did get a photo of either pair of socks completed, just halfway done. Now I'm working on something for myself, Knitty's Chrysanthemum mittens.

These are for my mom. I let her pick out the yarn but I don't think she knew what I was going to do with it. "Sunday Swing" from Knitty.



"Mermaid's Lagoon" from Knitty for my aunt Dorothy. My first attempt at lace. It has many mistakes, but they're not very noticeable.



I just finished the cuff, and am getting started on the chrysanthemum part.
